A Mighty Weekend

I was thrilled to be invited to this year's Mighty Summit, which took place this past weekend. What follows are some photos I took over those few precious days. It was an honor to be among such an amazing group of artists, writers, and web entrepreneurs.
We stayed at Boon,  a small resort in Sonoma.
Our first dinner was quite the fiesta! We feasted on delicious fare from a taco truck that drove right up to the hotel. Oh, and the lovely Jordan put those pretty piƱatas together.
The whole retreat was a perfect mix of socialization and thoughtful contemplation.
We also toured a couple of wineries and had some tastings.
We ate lunch at some picnic tables by a pond with actual lily pads.
When we returned to town, I took a walk and checked out the main drag of Guerneville.
But I was super happy to return to the group.
The next day we took a walk through the redwoods and talked about our goals for the coming year.
It's elevating and humbling at the the same time to walk around those giant trees. They've been around much longer than I have, and will live on long after I am dead. It begs the question: What I am I going to do while I'm still here?
We had our farewell dinner later that night.
I met so many inspiring, strong women during this unforgettable weekend, and I feel like I made great strides as far as my brain juices and life priorities go. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I suggest checking out Camp Mighty, which is a similar event put on by the amazing Maggie and the entire Mighty team.
